My 98 year old mother loves all types of music, a few years ago she met Willie Nelson at one of his concerts, their picture is displayed proudly on her dresser, along with other celebrities she has had the pleasure to meet. She has loved him since he was a young songwriter for Patsy CLine…..what is your favorite Willie Nelson song?

I only have Patsy Cline (so far). Love her to pieces!=D

I have about 100 or more old LP’s some dating back to the 50’s, 60’s. IE: Petula Clark, Buddy Holly,
Patsy Cline, Frank Sinatra, Al Martino, Vera Lyn…..and the list goes on. I would really like to sell these. I live in the Niagara area and would prefer to sell locally. Thanks.

Actually I am listening to a CD with both Patsy and Willie on it with Willie singing Crazy. They both could sing each other’s songs along with Hank Williams songs of course.
Many younger country singers are great but they can’t beat Willie and Patsy IMHO 
On what album is Netty Moore? My favorite Dylan song is Visions of Johana from Blond on Blond but that song is more like a dream than a love song.
I think the late Nick Drake and Natalie Merchant are also amazing if we want to stray from country music, and Gilliam Welsh has made some great songs which are close to original mountain songs.
The lines of division between country and soft rock or oldies don’t mean much to me.

I want to listen to someone, a girl, who has a really sweet voice. Like Patsy Cline, Marilyn Monroe, etc. You know, the type of music your grandmother listens to. Any ideas?
I’ve looked everywhere, but can’t find any clips or recordings of Patsy singing a Christmas song, except for a video of her singing “Let It Snow” with Ferlin Husky on YouTube.
